Californians arrested for travel violations | News, Sports, Jobs

Two California residents volunteered to leave Maui after they were arrested Monday for violating travel quarantine rules, police said.

Steven Miller, 54, of Dobbins and Tina Wideman, 55, of Yuba City didn’t have approved negative pre-travel COVID-19 tests or approved lodging for the mandatory 10-day quarantine when they arrived from Las Vegas, police said.

The two were transported to the Wailuku Police Station before they agreed to return to California, police said.
